How the Virus Spreads and Key Symptoms
The Ebola virus causes an extremely serious and often fatal illness. It spreads through direct contact with the bodily fluids of infected individuals, contaminated objects (like needles), and infected corpses.
Note on Treatment: While there is no definitive cure for every strain, early hospitalization, intensive supportive care (such as hydration), and symptom management significantly improve survival rates.
The WHO has appealed to the international community to take the outbreak seriously and support the affected nations. Health experts emphasize that raising public awareness, rapid testing, and timely containment measures are vital to stopping the spread of this deadly virus.
